Sound Technician
After the installation of a new sound system in 2015, I became the lead sound technician at the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Redbank Valley United Methodist Ministry, in New Bethlehem. My duties include operation of sound equipment, training substitute technicians, developing training materials and reference manuals, and coordinating equipment needs with church leadership.
Service Recordings
Services at the First United Methodist Church have been recorded since 2012. I became responsible for recording, editing, and uploading these services around 2017. These recordings are avaible on the church’s YouTube channel.
2020-21 ChurchAtHome
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Redbank Valley United Methodist Ministry suspended in person worship for the safety of congregation members. I worked with ministry leadership to produce and publicize a recorded service every week. When we were able to return to in person worship, services were live-streamed and recorded for at-risk individuals and their families. Services averaged about 100 viewers each week.
